AOUO was born in 2020 with a simple yet powerful idea:

Let nail art become a form of self-expression as unique and meaningful as fashion or fine art.

Every set we create is handmade with love, designed entirely from scratch by our team of artists. From the very first sketch to the final crystal placement, every detail is intentional. Each nail design has its own story—and over the years, we’ve handcrafted more than 1,200 original designs, each with its own soul.

Based in Sydney, Australia, AOUO now has two boutique stores and a large creative studio, where art and beauty come to life. Our nail designers have collaborated with talents from The Voice Australia, K-pop idols, influencers, and celebrities, bringing our vision to the global stage.

Our collections are guided by stories, seasons, and dreams. From Barbie Swan Lake, Monet’s Garden, and Van Gogh’s Irises, to Chinese Zodiac: Year of the Snake, Lotus & Goldfish, Hand-painted Disney Princesses, K-pop Idol Photocard Nails, Japanese Anime, and Genshin Impact—we’ve launched over 20 themed series, all created in strictly limited quantities of five or fewer sets to preserve uniqueness and creativity.

In 2025, we are preparing for exciting new collaborations with more artists and celebrities, while exploring the future of 3D-printed nail innovation. At AOUO, we believe nail art is more than beauty—it’s a feeling, a memory, a spark of magic.
